Custom Order FAQs

How long does a custom order take?

Custom orders take anywhere from a few days to a few months to create! It really boils down to what you'd like created and how readily available the parts are to make the piece. Rest assured we always give a rough timeframe before you place your order, and we try allow for a bit of wiggle room as custom pieces can come with custom challenges when creating them so timeframes can sometimes change.

What does the process look like?

The process first starts with your enquiry! This is where we discuss all the nitty gritty details of your custom piece.

Once we have a clear idea of what you'd like, we can give you a timeframe and a price. We generally ask for a 50% deposit initially to place your order and secure the parts needed. The rest of the payment is taken on project completion, prior to shipping.

Throughout the process we are in contact with updates and information on the progress of your piece. We are flexible with our contact options and are happy to send through photos and updates on a schedule that suits you.

Once completed we ship your custom piece. The price quoted always includes standard shipping and comes with a tracking number.

What will it cost?

Custom orders vary greatly in price. We price the custom piece based on the cost of materials and the amount of time invested to create it. Once we have listened to your vision we provide a price for it to come to life. We always quote prior to you placing your order, so there's no surprises.

Once an order is placed we honour our quoted price, even in the event of unexpected costs. The quoted price may be updated with your approval, if you request changes to your piece.

What if my order isn't coming together as I'd imagined?

When it comes to custom orders, communication is key! If the piece isn't looking how you envisioned please let us know straight away. We are very flexible and are happy to switch things up if it's not looking quite right. We encourage as much detail as possible when discussing your ideas, and if you have reference photos even better!

If you're after something very specific we can send through progress photos regularly for your approval.
